Patna: Assembly elections are due in Bihar in the month of October-November. In such a situation, before the election, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) has suffered a major setback. Senior party leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh resigned from the party on Thursday.
He is currently undergoing treatment at AIIMS in Delhi. From the hospital itself, he announced his resignation from RJD.
In a letter sent to Lalu Prasad Yadav, Raghuvansh Prasad Singh wrote that ‘Jannayak stood behind you for 32 years after Karpoori Thakur but not now. The party, leaders, workers and public have given great affection, but forgive me.
Doctors have shifted Prasad to ICU due to poor health. According to the information received by AIIMS, all their checkups are being done. At present, his condition is said to be stable.
The 74-year-old politician was found corona infected a few months ago. After treatment at Patna AIIMS, he returned home after recovering, but his body has become weak. Raghuvansh Prasad Singh has not recovered fully after recovering from Corona.
Actually, Vaishali’s former MP Rama Singh wants to come to the RJD. Prasad, one of the founding members of the party, is opposing this.
In response to a question about his displeasure, party president Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son Tej Pratap said that the party is a sea, nothing comes out of a lotta water from it.
