Panchayat election 2021 will not be held in Bihar yet, what did Manjhi say?

Patna: Seeing situation of Corona pandemic in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar decided to postpone panchayat elections 2021 has been welcomed by former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi.

Manjhi tweeted and wrote that due to lack of Panchayat elections on time, Mr. Thanks to Nitish Kumar ji.

He said that the present Panchayat members as well as MLA representatives would be included in the consultation committees, so that the development of the villages would not be hampered.

Let us inform that after the meeting of the Nitish cabinet, it became clear that at present there will be no Panchayat elections in Bihar, nor will the tenure of Panchayat representatives be extended. The tenure of panchayats ends on June 15.
