Brahmanand Singh said, “Ravi Prasad alias Pinnu along with his associates grabbed my plot in Patel Nagar on June 21. They have also started construction of a wall on the plot. When we objected to his coercive act, Prasad threatened me with dire consequences and asked my colleagues to take me and Shravan to the official residence of Deputy CM Renu Devi in Patna.”
Brahmanand further said, “We also met Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and told him about the criminal acts of his brother, but he said that he has no relation with brother Ravi Prasad.”
Shravan Kumar said, “The land-grabbing incident on June 21 was caught on CCTV camera. We have sent the footage to the chief minister and other top officials. When the incident happened on June 21, we immediately informed Shastri Nagar police station, But no one came to the spot.”
The market value of the land is Rs 6 crore. Meanwhile, the Rashtriya Janata Dal has reacted sharply to the incident.
Leader of Opposition in Bihar Assembly Tejashwi Yadav tweeted, “Deputy CM’s brother is grabbing land in broad daylight using firearms in Patna. The alleged persons are threatening to take the land owners to the Deputy CM’s residence. Guardians of Jungle Raj should speak on BJP’s ‘hooliganism’.”
