New Delhi: An Indian jet has arrived in Dominica to bring back Mehul Choksi, an accused in the Punjab National Bank (PNB) scam and fugitive diamond trader him.
It is being told that a private jet has arrived from India to Dominica, confirmed by Antigua Prime Minister Gaston Browne and that there is an Indian private jet at Dominica’s Douglas-Charles Airport.
In an interaction with a local radio station in Antigua, PM Brown said that India has a private jet at Douglas-Charles Airport in Dominica.
According to media reports, the jet took off from New Delhi and landed in Dominica via Madrid.
Brown said that the Indian government had sent documents which proved that Mehul Choksi was a fugitive.

At the same time, a court in Dominica prohibited the fugitive diamond trader Choksi from being sent elsewhere from the Caribbean island country until further orders.
Mehul Choksi, an accused in the PNB fraud case, had left India on 4 January 2018 along with his nephew Nirav Modi.
She acquired citizenship of the Caribbean island nation of Antigua Barbuda in 2017, before Navari fled to India in 2018.
Mehul Choksi and his nephew Nirav Modi are accused of allegedly cheating Punjab National Bank (PNB) with some 13,000 crore rupees in connivance with some bank officials.
