Karnal: Ruckus in CM Khattar rally, police lathi-charge on farmers

Karnal: A Kisan Mahapanchayat rally was convened by the BJP at Kaimla village in Haryana’s Karnal district. In this rally, before state Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar addressed, thousands of farmers gathered there to oppose them.

The police tried to disperse them but the farmers did not believe. The police fired cold-water showers and tear gas shells at the farmers. Due to this, the situation there remains tense.

Hundreds of farmers have gathered there from the surrounding area. After the clash with the police, all these farmers have now moved towards villages and farm barns. A large number of police forces have been deployed there.

Meanwhile, Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala has targeted CM Khattar. He tweeted and said, “Ma. Manohar Lal ji, stop pretending to be a farmer mahapanchayat in Kaimla village of Karnal. ”

He said, “Stop the conspiracy to spoil the law and order by messing with the feelings and emotions of the donors. If you want to communicate, do it to the Annadata who has been staging the borders for the last 46 days. ”

The BJP-ruled Haryana made headlines in November last year when it decided to stop farmers coming from Punjab to Delhi on the way and used force on them.

Even at that time, reports and video footage of police clashes with farmers, breaking barricades, tear gas and water splashes on farmers were revealed for a few days.

However, despite facing heavy criticism for a long time, the Central Government feels that there has been a “misconception” of the farmers about the three new agricultural laws, which the Government plans to communicate extensively with farmers to remove Is made

PM Modi himself has attended such a program. Manohar Lal Khattar also wants to communicate with the farmers and clarify the situation on agricultural laws. Khattar has already said that the MSP will not be removed.
