Lucknow on high alerts to deal with Coronavirus

Capital of Uttar Pradesh Lucknow, on high alert has been issued after Coronavirus was found in two children of a Prominent School located in Noida Sector 135. UP health department has asked all the hospitals in city to be prepared to deal with deadly virus. Significantly, in past, many cases of Corona have been reported in Delhi, Jaipur, Agra, Telangana, Kerala as well.

Corona has been confirmed in two patients in Delhi. While 6 suspected patients have been found in Agra. After which a high alert has also been issued in India. On Tuesday, Lucknow CMO Narendra Aggarwal held a press conference with News Readers correspondent and informed about preparations made to deal with Coronavirus.

Chief Medical Officer informed that a help desk has been set up at Amausi Airport. 71 isolation wards have been set up in hospitals in the capital. Corona virus screening facility has been provided at King Goarge Medical University (KGMU). On getting the symptoms of corona, the health of the passengers will be monitored keeping them in special camps.

He informed that so far 6 suspected patients have been kept on surveillance in the state. Investigation report of 5 people has come, which is negative. Passengers from China, Dubai and other countries are being monitored at airports. Several teams have been formed to keep an eye on people coming from outside. Duty of 6 doctors and 8 paramedical staff has been imposed at Amausi Airport. A 24 × 7 ambulance and a team of doctors have been deployed at the airport. In every hospital in the capital, two lab technicians are being trained in sample collection.

CMO said that 200 people have been kept under surveillance across the country so far. So far around 1200 people have been placed on surveillance. A control room related to the Corona virus was also created. Whose number is 0522 – 2622080. Any suspicious patient or person on this number can get information or assistance related to the corona.

So far more than 25 countries of the world have come under the grip of this deadly virus that started from Wuhan, city of China. World Health Organization has declared it a global epidemic. This dangerous virus has also knocked in India. After which, Health Department has issued a high alert across the country.

At the same time, Corona has gone spread in more than 25 countries of the world including Iran, America, Australia, Syria, Japan. So far 3000 people have died in the whole world. While thousands of people are infected. The most disturbing thing is that no medicine has been discovered so far to control this virus.
