New Delhi: India’s best comedian Raju Srivastava is no more (Death) in this world. He breathed his last at Delhi’s AIIMS on Wednesday. On August 10, Raju Srivastava suffered by heart attack while working out in the gym, after which he was immediately admitted to AIIMS Hospital in Delhi. He fought more then 40 days for life & death.
Raju Srivastava was 58 years old. News agency ANI reported that Raju Srivastava’s family has confirmed the death. He was admitted to AIIMS Hospital in Delhi for a long time. He was undergoing treatment here for the last 42 days. Raju Srivastava was on ventilator since August 10. When doctors did CT scan of his head, swelling was found in a part of the brain. Raju Srivastava underwent angioplasty at AIIMS, in which 100% blockage was found in large part of the heart.
Raju Srivastava was BJP leader and chairman of Uttar Pradesh Film Development Council. He was took part in a number one position on behalf of Authorities of Uttar Pradesh in setting up Movie Metropolis in Noida.
PM Modi, Rajnath, Shah and Nadda expressed grief
Several leaders including PM Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President JP Nadda condoled the death of Raju Srivastava. PM Modi said that Raju Srivastava illuminated our lives with laughter, humor and positivity. He left us very soon but he will live on in the hearts of countless people for years of his rich work. His death is sad. Condolences to his family and fans.
Rajnath Singh said in a tweet, “I am deeply saddened by the demise of renowned comedian Raju Srivastava. Apart from being an accomplished artist, he was also a very lively person. He was also very active in the social field. I extend my condolences to his bereaved family and fans.”
Shah said that Raju Srivastava had a unique style and impressed everyone with his amazing talent. He said, “His death is a great loss to the art world. I express my condolences to his family and fans. May God give him the strength to bear this grief.” BJP President Nadda said that he became speechless after hearing the news of the death of Raju Srivastava. He said, “Raju Srivastava left a distinct mark in the world of comedy. My thoughts are with his family and fans in this hour of grief. May God grant the virtuous soul a place at his feet.
Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur described Srivastava as a wonderful artist and a lively person and said that he should become an inspiration to many artists with his art and talent. He said, “The passing of Raju Srivastava is sad. His passing marks the end of the era of a genre of comedy, it is not possible to fill the void created by his death. My heartfelt condolences are with the bereaved family and their fans. May God give place to the departed soul at his feet.
