New Delhi: In the last 24 hours, 3,33,533 new cases of corona have been reported in India and 525 people have died. This information was given by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Sunday.
525 people have died in the last 24 hours. With this, the death toll has increased to 4,89,409.
There are 21,87,205 active cases of corona in India. The positivity rate of the country is 5.57 percent. In the last 24 hours, 2,59,168 patients have been cured, due to which the number of people recovering has increased to 3,65,60,650. India’s recovery rate is 93.18 percent.
A total of 18,75,533 corona tests were conducted across the country. India has done more than 71.55 crore tests so far. More than 71 lakh vaccine doses have been given to people in the last 24 hours.
Corona vaccination coverage in India has reached 161.92 crore till Sunday morning. According to the Ministry of Health, as of Sunday morning, more than 13.32 crore corona vaccine doses are currently available with the states and union territories.
