CM Yogi Adityanath was inaugurating the weekly tribute ceremony organized on the 52nd death anniversary of Yugpurush Brahmalin Mahant Digvijaynath and 7th death anniversary of Rashtrasant Brahmalin Mahant Avedyanath on Saturday.
The CM said that every Indian knows about Vedas, Ramayana Upanishad, Mahabharata. Every Indian does not need to know his history by reading the stories and episodes described in these. Our Vedas inspire to increase the sense of reverence for this earth. CM Yogi Adityanath did virtual unveiling of prototype train of Kanpur and Agra Metro
Lucknow Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that the metro rail is being successfully operated in the four cities of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Noida and Greater Noida, which has the largest population of the country.
Metro work in Kanpur and Agra is almost complete. Along with this, DPRs for Metro in five other major cities namely Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Meerut and Jhansi are ready or in the final stages. The best of public transport will be available in these cities as well. CM Yogi said this while unveiling the first prototype train of Kanpur and Agra Metro from Gorakhnath temple on Saturday.
He said that today is a moment of joy for us. Safe and comfortable public transport like metro is the need of the day. Around 30th November we will be in a position to dedicate Kanpur and Agra Metro to the nation. Efforts will be made to get it launched with the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
