According to the Meteorological Department, in the next two days from today, there may be heavy rains in many districts including the lowlands of UP, Purvanchal.
According to the Meteorological Department, there will be heavy rain in Lakhimpur Kheri and adjoining districts of UP for the next two days. During this, there is a possibility of strong winds with a speed of 70 km along with heavy rain.
On the other hand, according to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in some districts of the state even today. In view of the possibility of rain, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert regarding rain in 11 districts of UP.
The districts with Orange Alert are Lakhimpur Kheri, Bahraich, Sitapur, Shravasti, Gonda, Siddharth Nagar, Basti, Sant Kabir Nagar, Ayodhya, Ambedkar Nagar and Azamgarh. Apart from this, a yellow alert has been issued in view of the possibility of rain in Saharanpur, Barabanki, Amethi, Sultanpur, Jaunpur, Mau, Deorian, Gorakhpur, Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Ballia and Ghazipur.
The Meteorological Department has warned the people of the respective districts that for the next two days, you should be alert, do not stand under any temporary construction or trees. Stay in a pucca house or a safe place.
The Meteorological Department has informed the DM and other officials of the respective districts in this regard. It has also been said that vigilance should be taken, after which the district administration is also alert.
