Team Australia announces for England tour, Maxwell and Khwaja return

Melbourne: Cricket team Australia has announced their 26-member team for the tour of England.

Where the Kangaroo team’s explosive player Glenn Maxwell and opener Usman Khawaja are back in this team.

Let me tell you, there are many uncapped players like Daniel Symes, Riley Meredith and Josh Phillip.

Actually, a limited-overs series between Australia and England could be held in September.

However, Cricket Australia said, “The final decision is yet to be taken on this tour and negotiations are going on between Cricket Australia, England and Wales Cricket Board and related government agencies”. The final team will be selected only after the tour is confirmed.

Let me tell you, England are currently playing a Test series against the West Indies which also led to the return of international cricket.

Significantly, in addition to the regular players in the potential team, Maxwell also has not played any match for his country since October last year.

He had taken rest due to mental health issues. Khwaja has also not been a favorite of limited overs for some time.

He did not get a place in CA’s contracted players for the first time in the last five years in April this year.

National selector Trevor Hawns said that this team has been selected not only for the tour of England but also with the T20 World Cup in mind.
