New Delhi: Indian cricket team for limited overs series against Sri Lanka to be held in July this year has been announced. Opener Shikhar Dhawan will captain Team India in the Sri Lanka series while fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been made the vice-captain.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) issued a statement saying that the Indian Senior Selection Committee has announced 20 Indian squads for this series of three ODIs and three T20 matches to be held from July 13 to 25.

All matches of this series will be played at the R Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo.
The first ODI between India and Sri Lanka will be played on July 13, while the second and third ODIs will be played on July 16 and 18 respectively.
The ODI series will be followed by three T20 matches on 21, 23 and 25 July. The Indian Test team under captain Virat Kohli will play a five-match Test series against England in August-September, so Dhawan has been made the captain for the Sri Lanka tour. Apart from Dhawan, the team’s fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been made the vice-captain.

Gautam, Krunal Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakraborty, Bhuvneshwar Kumar (vice-captain), Deepak Chahar, Navdeep Saini and Chetan Sakaria. Net Bowlers: Ishan Porel, Sandeep Warrier, Arshdeep Singh, Sai Kishore and Simranjit Singh.
