Almora: Veteran cricketer Ekta Bisht, who has given many memorable victories to the Indian cricket team, will captain the team selected for T20 tournament. Ekta Bisht has been given command of the team for T20 tournament. Cricket Association of Uttarakhand has announced the team of Uttarakhand for T20 tournament. Preeti Bhandari serving in Uttarakhand Police has also been included in this team.
Her fans are very happy with handing over of command of the team to Ekta Bisht, as well as Preeti Bhandari getting place in this team, expectations of cricket lovers have increased lot. Preeti currently practices in Kashipur with Ekta Bisht.
Who is Preeti Bhandari?
Preeti Bhandari hails from Bhandar village Bagwalikhpokhar in Almora and has previously commanded Uttarakhand women’s team in domestic cricket. Like Ekta, Preeti is also receiving training from cricket coach Liaquat Ali Khan.
Let us inform that apart from serving Uttarakhand Cricket, Preeti is working in Uttarakhand Police in Kashipur itself. Preeti has joined the team as wicket-keeper batsman.
