Jaipur: Regarding the Sub Inspector Police Recruitment (SI Recruitment 2021), the candidates demonstrated at “C Scheme Civil Line” gate on Monday and raised slogans against the government and demanded the appointment letter soon.

Police stopped the protesters from going ahead by putting up barricades at the Civil Line gate itself. The police asked the youth to meet the OSD, but they remained adamant on meeting the Chief Minister.
After this 5 of them were sent to the Chief Minister’s residence with a memorandum of demands. The protesters say that they will sit on an indefinite “Dharna” (Protest) at the Civil Line gate itself till the demands are not accepted.
Process of SI recruitment exam had completed in January 2021
According to the information, in 2016 for SI recruitment, applications were invited for 511 posts. The written exam was held on 7 October 2018 and the result was released in August 2019. The physical was done in September 2019.
After this the candidates who passed in January 2020 were called for interview. RPSC conducted the interview of successful candidates and sent the merit list to PHQ in September 2020.
In January 2021, on the basis of merit list, the documents verification and health check-up of the candidates were done. But even after 4 months, the candidates were not given appointment.
Among the candidates sitting on the dharna, Girraj, Kalpana, Mukesh Chaudhary, Ramakant, Ira were sent to the Chief Minister’s residence with a memorandum of demands.
