New Delhi: 127952 new covid cases have been reported in last 24 hours in India and 1059 people have died. This information was shared by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Saturday. With this the death toll increased to 501114.
There are 1331648 active cases of corona. In one day, 230814 were cured of the virus. With this, the total number of cured people increased to 40247902. The recovery rate of the country is 95.64 percent.
A total of 1603856 corona tests were conducted across the country, taking the total number of tests to more than 73.79 crore. With more than 47 lakh vaccine doses given in the last 24 hours, the country’s corona vaccination coverage has reached 168.98 crores till Saturday morning. The ministry said that more than 11.02 crore vaccine doses are currently available with the states and union territories.
