New Delhi: 18286 new cases of Covid -19 were registered in Delhi, which decreased marginally to 1709870 for the third consecutive day, while the infection rate decreased to 27.87 percent as compared to 30.64 on the previous day.
Meanwhile, 28 people also died, taking the total death toll to 25,363. The city had recorded 30 deaths on Saturday. Meanwhile, according to the Delhi Health Department, however, there has been a decline in active Covid cases.
The rate of active Covid cases in Delhi is 5.52 percent. So far 93.26 percent of Covid patients have been cured while the death rate is 1.48 percent. With the recovery of 21846 patients in the last 24 hours, the total number of people who have recovered has gone up to 1594,788. At present, a total of 68411 Covid patients are undergoing treatment in home isolation.
Number of Covid Containment Zones has increased to 32,983. In the last 24 hours, a total of 65621 new tests were done in which 54141 RT-PCR and 11480 rapid antigen tests were done. So far a total of 34060063 tests have been done.
165924 vaccines were administered in the last 24 hours out of which 94486 were first dose and 52747 were second dose. Meanwhile, 18691 precautionary doses were also given in the last 24 hours. As per the health bulletin, the total number of immunization beneficiaries so far is 28534771.
