Donald Trump Facebook, Instagram accounts suspended for two years

New York: Facebook has suspended the Facebook and Instagram accounts of former US President Donald Trump for two years.

Donald Trump has called the suspension of his Facebook-Insta account an insult to millions of American citizens.

He criticized Facebook’s move and said that it amounted to censorship.

After the riots at the US Capitol in January, Trump made several posts, which Facebook called a serious violation of the rules.

Facebook accused Trump of inciting a riot in the US Capitol and banned his Facebook-Instagram account indefinitely in January.

Facebook is now going to end the policy of exempting politicians from monitoring content.

Facebook has said that now even the posts of politicians will not get any security cover.

This ban on Trump will be considered from January 7 and will remain till January 7, 2023.
