Uttarakhand Chakka Jam: State level protest organized against the necessity of automated fitness centers and the closure of ten-year-old Vikram autos in Dehradun and Haridwar districts. Due to this, the problems of the passengers have increased. People reaching different districts of Uttarakhand are not getting vehicles. Only a few vehicles are visible on the roads. At the same time, vehicle owners from all over the state will travel to the assembly in Dehradun.
Explain that the Transport Department has started automated fitness centers with private participation at Doiwala in Dehradun and Rudrapur in Udham Singh Nagar. Vikram, auto, bus, truck, city bus operators are protesting against making the fitness of vehicles mandatory.
At the same time, there is a lot of opposition to the decision of RTA Dehradun to stop the operation of Vikrams, diesel autos which are more than ten years old. About 15 unions of Garhwal division including Uttarakhand Vikram, Auto Rickshaw Transport Federation, City Bus Service Federation, as well as unions of Kumaon division are also included in this.
At the same time, Transport Commissioner Arvind Singh Hyanki has sent a letter to all DMs, SSPs, RTOs, ARTOs asking them to make alternative arrangements in case of traffic jams. On the other hand, the Vikram Janakalyan Seva Samiti has said that it will not participate in Chakkajam but only in the assembly march.
