Now sitting at home, you can set up solar projects up to 100 KW. The government is going to provide this facility by changing the policy of Chief Minister Solar Self Employment Scheme started in Trivendra government. Under this, the government will also give relief in the cost of the project.
In September 2020, the Trivendra government had launched the Mukhyamantri Saur Swarozgar Yojana, under which a provision was made to provide solar projects of up to 25 kW to ten thousand youth of the state. It was also decided that all the formalities would be completed within seven days, but in spite of this even 100 projects could not be started in two years.
Till July 2022, 65 projects would be started across the state. When the plan was reviewed, it was found that there are some flaws in it, due to which the youth are not getting inclined.
What self-employment for five thousand rupees
The government found in the review of the scheme that only projects up to 25 kilowatts can be set up under it, due to which a youth earns about four to five thousand rupees per month. At the same time, despite the cost of the project increasing so much, the old rates are still running in the DPR. So, there will be a change in this.
Preparing to do 100 kW
Now its policy is being changed from the government level. Under this, there is a preparation to increase the range of 25 kW to 100 kW. At the same time, the cost of production has also increased, according to which the DPR will now be revised.
Slight changes will be made in the policy of Chief Minister Solar Self Employment Scheme. Along with increasing the capacity of the solar project to be set up under this, the DPR will be revised according to the cost of production.
