Chamoli Accident: A vehicle has met with an accident near Gopeshwar Pokhri Motorway Trishula. Two people have died in the accident. Local people reached the spot and informed the police station Pokhari about the accident. On which the SDRF team reached the spot and took out the dead bodies from the ditch.
Car fell into 500 meter deep gorge
It was told that an Alto car went uncontrolled and fell into a 500 meter deep gorge. Anil Semwal resident Chhemi and Sanjay Ganai Joshimath were traveling in the car, both of them have died.
On information, police and SDRF team reached the spot and recovered both the bodies with the help of the local people. These people were going from Trishula to Devkhal. This heart-wrenching incident of road accident took place on Monday morning around 9 o’clock.
Teenager crushed to death by truck
On the other hand, a teenager died on the spot after being crushed by a truck in Khatta village of Kotwali Doiwala. Police arrested the driver and took the truck into custody. Kotwali’s senior sub-inspector Rakesh Sah told that the truck was coming back towards Doiwala after unloading the cylinder at the Bharat Gas Godown located in Dharmuchak.
Teenager was hit by rear wheel of truck
While crossing the truck at a place in the village, Keshavpuri Doiwala, a resident of Amit (14), who was riding a bicycle, fell and got hit by the rear wheel of the truck. Due to which he died on the spot.
Police took the truck into custody and arrested the driver. According to eyewitnesses, the teenager fell in a panic due to the narrowing of the road and hanging sugarcane from the field on the road.
