The authorities have remained silent on this proposal. But the mayor has accepted the proposal. There has been a demand for changing the name of Taj Mahal to Tejo Mahal in the past. But now the echo of this demand is also being heard in the Municipal Corporation.
The lawyer objected to ‘Tejo Mahalaya’ proposal
Senior advocate Amir Ahmed Jafri has objected to his proposal. He said that whether the Municipal Corporation has the right to change the name of the historical monument? However, all eyes are on the House discussion of the Municipal Corporation which will start at 3 pm.
Talking to the media in this regard, BJP councilor Shobharam Rathore said that it is Tejo Mahalaya, not Taj Mahal. I also have proof of this. There is a lot of evidence like the Kalash present in the Taj Mahal, the pair of Nag-Nagin. Councilor Shobharam Rathore said that the real name of Shah Jahan’s Begum Mumtaz Mahal was Anjum Bano.
Anjum Bano had died 22 years before the construction of the Taj Mahal. Mumtaz Mahal alias Anjum Bano was buried in Burhanpur. After the construction of the Taj Mahal, his tomb was rebuilt in the Taj Mahal.
