Gonda: A big scam has come to the fore in the marriages organized under Mukhyamantri Samuhik Vivah Yojana in Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh. In which the marriage of already married couples was done in the presence of UP Minister and the regional MLA. Under which lakhs of rupees have been wasted through the program.
Under the Mukhyamantri Samuhik Vivah Yojana, marriages of 151 poor girls were ruined by corruption in Chhapia development block of Gonda district on Wednesday.
In the program, such couples were made to sit in the wedding mandap, who had been married months before. Interestingly, all this was done under the supervision of the head of that department himself.
Let us inform that, on Wednesday, a mass marriage ceremony (Samuhik Vivah Yojana Uttar Pradesh) was organized in the development block Chhapia. In which 151 girls were married in the presence of BJP’s district president Amar Kishore Bambam, including Family Social Welfare Minister Ramapati Shastri and regional MLA Prabhat Verma.
For this, propaganda was being done in the area for several days. But when the wedding day came, Ramapati Shastri, the Social Welfare Minister himself, got the already married couples married again with Vedic chanting.
Not only this, the game was also played fiercely in the gifts given by the state government to poor girls during marriage.
From the block development officer to the block chief, all the items including the gifted wedding kit, grant money and household items were digested. Due to which there was a lot of uproar in the block premises after the marriage ceremony. Now no one is ready to open his mouth in this matter.
Kanhaiya, Shravan, Pankaj, Salim etc. told that they have been married many months ago. Whom a person named Budhram lured and invited them there and made them sit in the pavilion and pretend to get married again.
However, such corruption in the mass marriage programs that have taken place since this matter came to the fore cannot be ruled out. However, not all responsible are opening their mouths in this matter.
