Mumbai: Like the Eid-ul Fitr during the Corona period, now on the 31st of July, Bakrid (Eid ul-Azha) will be celebrated all over the country.
The Maharashtra government has asked people to celebrate it with simplicity. In this, people have been appealed to stay in the house instead of mosque or Idgah, to offer Namaz.
Apart from this, people have also been suggested symbolic sacrifice instead of goat. The government has also issued a guideline regarding this.
It said that instead of mosques, Idgahs or public places, this time offer Namaz at home.
Currently, all livestock markets (animal markets) will also be closed on the occasion of Bakrid.
If a person wants to buy a goat for a sacrifice, he can shop online or over the phone.
State Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has asked people to follow the guidelines.
