Although, every year Ganesha resides here in this style, yet there is great enthusiasm among the devotees for his darshan. After two years since the arrival of Corona, once again the court of the King of Lal Bagh has been decorated in a grand manner.

The Lal Bagh ke Raja’s pandal is going to be the center of attraction in Mumbai as this time Bappa’s court has been built like the Ram temple to be built in Ayodhya.

It is a tradition here that two days before Ganesh Chaturthi, Bappa’s face is seen, in which a large number of devotees gather for the first darshan. Like this tradition, on August 29, devotees took advantage of Bappa’s first darshan, however, on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi i.e. on 31st, more devotees will come here.

Like every year, this time too the statue of Lalbaugcha Raja is very beautiful and adorable. Ganeshji is wearing red clothes. He has a wheel in one hand and sits on the throne in his royal style. It is being said that the idol of Lalbaugcha Raja is 12 feet tall.

It is said that Lalbaugcha Raja’s public circle was established in the year 1934. The Ganesh festival was started by Bal Gangadhar Tilak. Actually, Ganesh Utsav was organized to gather all the countrymen to liberate the country. During this, discussions were held in the pandals for the freedom struggle.
