Jaipur: On the occasion of the commemoration of Brigadier Late Bhawani Singh Jaipur, the prestigious annual award ceremony ‘Sawai Jaipur Awards 2021’ will be organized virtually this year on the evening of 22 October.
These awards, given by the Maharaja Sawai Mansingh II Museum Trust, will be in 24 categories. These awards will be given in various categories like service to humanity, heritage conservation, medical science, field of traditional crafts etc.
31,000 in cash, a shawl, a replica of a silver urn kept at Sarvatobhadra Chowk in the City Palace, a citation and a shriphal are given under these awards.
These awards are given for outstanding work in various fields:-

- Raja Kakil Dev Award – For Architecture and Heritage Conservation.
- Raja Pajwan Dev Award – In the field of medicine.
- Raja Bhagwant Das Award – In the field of traditional crafts of Jaipur.
- Raja Mansingh I Award – For Bravery.
- Mirza Raja Jaisingh I Award – For distinguished service in the Armed Forces.
- Mirza Raja Ram Singh 1st Award – For ecological balance and improvement in environment.
- Maharaja Vishan Singh Award – For remarkable work in travel, tourism and museum development.
- Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II Award – in the field of Astronomy and related sciences.
- Maharaja Sawai Ishwari Singh Award – In the field of Journalism.
- Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh First Award – For developing and enhancing the image of Rajasthan in India and abroad.
- Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh Award – in the field of literature and education.
- Maharaja Sawai Jagat Singh Award – in the field of art, painting and sculpture.
- Maharaja Sawai Ram Singh II Award – in the field of photography and journalism.
- Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh II Award – will be given for significant contribution in the theatre, film and television sector.
