In the 2014 general elections, the Modi government showed the people of the country an dream of fixing price of petrol at Rs 45. Unfortunately, that dream only remains a dream. Since when Modi government formed at the centre, instead of decreasing price of petrol, it has been continuously increasing.
Patience of the people, who have been suffering due to rising petrol price for a long time, is now responding. When “The Gandhigiri” correspondent, Deepak Pandey asked to people about Narendra Modi’s promises to some people who came to pay for petrol at filling station, they just burn out.
Some of those people said that we have brought the most ‘bad days’ with axes on our own feet in the desire for ‘good days’. At the same time, some customers said in satirical way for crossing Rs. 90 per litre petrol price, ‘Modi ji has promised 45 rupees before the election, but he didn’t told that is half litre price, we were the idiots who could not understand too.’
Let us tell you that, after five days, the petrol companies increased the fuel prices again on Wednesday.
