Saudi Arabia will again send oxygen, container to India

While Corona epidemic in India, friendly country, Saudi Arabia, is now again sending 60 metric tons of oxygen. This oxygen is expected to reach Mumbai airport by June 6.

Prasar Bharati News Service (PBNS INDIA) made a tweet mentioning the name of Union Minister Darmendra Pradhan. The tweet reads, “Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan thanked Prince Abdulaziz, Energy Minister, KSA for 3 ISO containers with 60 tonne LMOs, which are expected to reach Mumbai on 6 June, and for supporting India Also to provide 100 ISO containers in the coming months.”

 


In this tweet, referring to PM Narendra Modi also wrote that, “This gesture of Saudi Arabia signifies the close friendship and warmth between the leadership of Saudi Arabia and PM Modi.”

Let me tell you that in its fight against Corona epidemic, India has turned to OPEC countries, especially Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar and Kuwait for sourcing medical oxygen.

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had discussions with Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdul Aziz, UAE Industries Minister Sultan Al Jaber and Qatar’s Energy Minister Saad Sherida Al-Kabi for the supply of medical, oxygen and containers.

While daily cases of corona virus infection have come down from 4 lakhs to 1.73 lakhs, the death toll is not taking the name of decrease. Officially recorded daily deaths are currently over 3,617.
