New Delhi: In the last 24 hours, 410 new cases of the new variant of Corona Omicron were reported in India, taking the total number of cases to 4,033. With this, 1,552 people have been cured so far.
The Union Health Ministry shared on Monday morning. According to the Health Ministry, the Omicron variant has so far spread in 27 states and union territories.
In Maharashtra, Omicron reported 207 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the number of cases to 1,216.
Maharashtra is the most affected state by Omicron. While 454 patients have been discharged.
Rajasthan has overtaken Delhi with a total of 529 Omicron cases, out of which 305 have been discharged so far.
Omicron has 513 cases in Delhi. Of these, 57 have been discharged from the hospital so far.
After Delhi, Karnataka has 441 cases of Omicron. So far 333 Omicron cases have been reported in Kerala.
Among other states, Gujarat has reported 236 cases so far, while Tamil Nadu has reported 185 cases. Telangana and Haryana have also reported 123 Omicron cases.
According to the Health Ministry data, 113 cases of Omicron have been reported in the recently-polled Uttar Pradesh. However, the number of cases has gone up to 74 in Odisha and 28 in Andhra Pradesh.
Punjab and West Bengal have 27 cases each and Goa has 19 Omicron cases. In Madhya Pradesh, one case of Omicron has been reported in the last 24 hours, taking the number to 10.
However, there are 9 Omicron cases in Assam and 8 in Uttarakhand. Meghalaya has 4 Omicron cases so far.
So far 3 cases have been reported in Chandigarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and 2 in Puducherry.
Meanwhile, one case each of Omicron has been reported in Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh, Manipur and Chhattisgarh.
