Corona Update 24 Sept: After registering a relatively two-day reduction in the number of people recovering from corona virus infection in the country, there has been an increase once again during the last 24 hours, due to which the recovery rate has increased to 97.78 percent.
Meanwhile, 72 lakh 20 thousand 642 people were vaccinated against corona in the country on Thursday and so far 84 crore 15 lakh 18 thousand 26 people have been vaccinated.
According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Friday morning, 31,382 new cases of corona were confirmed in the last 24 hours, due to which the number of infected has increased to three crore 35 lakh 94 thousand 803.
Meanwhile, after the recovery of 32,542 patients, the number of corona-free people has increased to three crore 28 lakh 48 thousand 273. Active cases have come down from 1478 to three lakh 162.
Let us tell you that due to the death of 318 more patients, the death toll has increased to 4,46,368. The recovery rate in the country has increased to 97.78 percent and the rate of active cases has come down to 0.89 while the death rate remains at 1.33 percent.
Kerala currently ranks first in the country in terms of active cases, although 980 active cases have decreased in the last 24 hours, taking their number to 160616.
At the same time, due to the recovery of 20,510 patients, the number of corona-free people has increased to 4394476. Due to the death of 152 patients in the same period, the death toll has increased to 24191.
In Maharashtra, the active cases have come down to 42753 by 791 while the death toll has increased to 138725 due to the death of 61 more patients. While the number of people who have become corona free has increased to 6353079 due to the recovery of 4050 people.
